Sterile Processing Technician

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at Jain Dentistry Professional Corporation. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of infection control and sterilization of medical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures, and record results.
- Assist healthcare professionals in maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Follow through on treatment programs with patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Set up and dismantle equipment, clean and maintain it to prevent cross-contamination.
- Lay out surgical instruments and prepare equipment and supplies for procedures.
- Clean and dress wounds, maintaining a sterile environment at all times.
- Maintain inventory of equipment, ordering supplies as needed.
- Process files and paperwork, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, managing routine office functions.
Requirements:
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
Working Conditions:
- 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
