We are seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at Jain Dentistry Professional Corporation. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of infection control and sterilization of medical equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical instrumentation and sterilization techniques, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be essential in maintaining our high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures, and record results
  • Assist health care professionals in maintaining a safe and clean environment
  • Follow through on treatment programs with patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being
  • Set up and dismantle equipment, clean and maintain it to ensure optimal performance
  • Lay out surgical instruments, prepare and maintain equipment and supplies
  • Clean and dress wounds, maintain inventory of equipment, and process files and paperwork
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, manage routine office functions, and order supplies and equipment

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent position, 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Fluency in English
