Staffing Coordinator

Rus Custom Homes Ltd. is seeking a skilled Staffing Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our human resources department, you will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, collecting and screening applicants, and advising job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.

The ideal candidate will have efficient interpersonal skills, be organized, and reliable. They will also have experience with MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word. If you have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role and are looking for a permanent position with 35 to 40 hours of work per week, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements
  • Collect and screen applicants
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
  • Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
  • Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
  • Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
  • Recruit and hire staff

Requirements:

  • Efficient interpersonal skills
  • Organized
  • Reliability
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent position with 35 to 40 hours of work per week
