About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Accessories Mechanic to join our team at MTU Maintenance Canada Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural and mechanical systems of aircraft meet the highest standards of performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and repair aircraft structural, mechanical, or hydraulic systems to meet Transport Canada and company standards.
  • Install or modify aircraft engines and mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel, and pneumatic systems.
  • Maintain detailed repair, inspection, and certification records and reports.
  • Dismantle and reassemble airframes, aircraft engines, or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul, and cleaning.
  • Inspect the work of other aircraft mechanics to ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
  • Perform and document routine maintenance tasks.
  • Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and written technical instructions.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field.
  • Basic security clearance and a criminal record check.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Initiative, judgement, reliability, and a team player attitude.
