Inventory Coordinator

At PHSA, we are seeking an Inventory Coordinator to join our team. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for organizing and prioritizing internal requisitions from several sites and departments, maintaining related records by completing paperwork and keying data for recording inventory supply levels, internal requisitions and pick lists, including data entry into a computerized system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain related records by completing paperwork and keying data for recording inventory supply levels, internal requisitions and pick lists.
  • Enter data into a computerized system.
  • Replenish carts or trolleys as required.
  • Receive, unpack and check incoming goods and materials.
  • Maintain stores inventory supply records for carts or trolleys and stores shelving.
  • Marshal supplies and equipment in loading or temporary storage areas.
  • Assemble loads, load carts, bins and/or trolleys and transport and ship a variety of goods, supplies and equipment to and from designated areas, sites and departments.
  • Identify and return damaged or spoiled goods to suppliers.
  • Deliver, pick up, ship and transport a variety of supplies and equipment by operating a truck and a varied fleet of powered equipment and carts.
  • Perform routine inspection and maintenance functions on vehicles and equipment.
  • Participate in inventory activities.

Requirements

  • Grade 12, one (1) year recent, related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Valid Class 5 British Columbia driver's license.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
