Job Summary

The Stores and Distribution Attendant plays a vital role in the efficient operation of our multi-site facilities. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and prioritize internal requisitions from various sites and departments, maintaining accurate records and data entry into our computerized system.
  • Maintain the cart top-up system by checking supply levels, entering requisition data, and replenishing carts as needed.
  • Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming goods and materials, ensuring they meet specifications and complete related paperwork.
  • Maintain stores inventory supply records, labeling and updating data as directed.
  • Marshal supplies and equipment, assembling loads, loading carts, and transporting goods to designated areas.
  • Identify and return damaged or spoiled goods to suppliers, completing necessary documentation.
  • Deliver, pick up, ship, and transport supplies and equipment, adhering to WHMIS and TDG regulations.
  • Perform routine inspection and maintenance functions on vehicles and equipment, maintaining documentation and recommending repairs as needed.
  • Participate in inventory activities and perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Grade 12, one year of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Class 5 British Columbia driver's license.
  • Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada.
