Industrial Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Grimsby, ON. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of our maintenance team, providing expert support for technical issues and ensuring timely resolution.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for conducting on-site evaluations, analyzing systems and equipment, and identifying areas for improvement or troubleshooting. They will also install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert guidance and support for technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing downtime.
- Conduct on-site evaluations to analyze systems, equipment, and processes, identifying areas for improvement or troubleshooting.
- Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
- Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery.
- A valid passport and the ability to travel without restrictions is required.
- Carry a class G or higher driver's license with the ability to provide a valid clear driver's abstract within thirty (30) days of hire date.
- Role requires flexibility for emergency breakdowns or late scheduling changes.
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
The estimated salary range for this position is between $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
