Food Service Manager

Join our team at Buon Giorno Italian Bakery as a Food Service Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.
Key Responsibilities:- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
- Hire and manage food service staff to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management decisions.
- Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak periods.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Our bakery is a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding work schedule. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work in a team environment, communicating effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations.
