We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ontario inc.
Job SummaryThe Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that high-quality food and exceptional customer service are consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that food meets quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Staff Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable.
- Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, monitoring expenses and optimizing resources to achieve business objectives.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Language: English
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and interact with customers.
