Aviso Wealth is a leading wealth management organization seeking an experienced Insurance Operations Director to lead our National Account Managing General Agency (MGA) team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Insurance Operations team, ensuring high service standards are maintained in the MGA back office. Key responsibilities include managing contracts and relationships with insurance suppliers and vendors, delivering corporate insurance growth strategies, and collaborating with Regional Insurance Consultants and the Insurance Business Development Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Leverage your experience in life insurance agency operations to drive business growth and improve service delivery
  • Manage contracts and relationships with insurance suppliers and vendors to ensure seamless execution of corporate insurance growth strategies
  • Collaborate with Regional Insurance Consultants and the Insurance Business Development Manager to deliver results-driven solutions
  • Lead the Insurance Operations team, providing guidance, coaching, and motivation to achieve peak performance
Requirements
  • University degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in insurance operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity
  • In-depth knowledge of life insurance agency operations, including National Account and MGA contracts, new business and policy service, agent contracting, and policy transfers
  • Familiarity with insurance sales process and types of insurance products is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Problem-solving and time management skills are essential
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
