About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team. As a Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns, identifying planning opportunities, and making recommendations to clients to minimize tax compliance exposure.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
  • Identifying planning opportunities and making recommendations to clients
  • Working closely with partners, principals, and senior managers on different files
  • Coaching and training other team members

Requirements

  • CPA designation
  • Completion or in process of completion of the In-Depth Tax Course or a Master of Tax
  • Two or more years' professional experience in Canadian corporate tax
  • Perfect French
  • Comfortable interpreting and applying tax legislations
  • Comfortable with tax research methods and databases
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong computer skills (Word and Excel)
  • Open-mindedness to constant learning
  • Inquisitiveness and creativity
  • Emphasis on teamwork and collaboration
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Result oriented
