Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, service, and technical troubleshooting of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  2. Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions to meet their requirements.
  3. Conduct on-site electrical and mechanical diagnostic checks to identify and resolve issues.
  4. Provide on-site supervision and training to service engineers and apprentices.
  5. Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
  6. Adhere to company quality service standards and make recommendations for improvements.
  7. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements:

  1. Experience as a Service Engineer or completed apprenticeship in a relevant engineering field.
  2. C&G F-Gas 2079 certification.
  3. Practical experience with all aspects of refrigeration and air conditioning, both mechanical and electrical.
  4. Health and safety awareness, including safe handling of refrigerants.
  5. Flexible to work overtime and be on call out rota.

What We Offer:

Competitive salary range of £38,000 to £45,000 DOE, plus benefits including training, pension, company vehicle, private medical, and retail discounts.
