Job Title: Awake Overnight – Youth and Community Support Worker – ExCel

Enviros WSA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth and Community Support Worker to join our ExCel Discovery Program. As a key member of our team, you will provide support to residents in a live-in group setting, promoting a healthy re-integration into the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide trauma-informed care to residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve program goals and objectives.
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of government, justice, and daily paperwork.
  • Respond to crisis situations, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain regular house expectations, including meal preparation, cleaning, and sanitizing.
  • Attend regular staff meetings and training sessions.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Criminal Justice or Human Services.
  • 1-2 years of experience in youth justice, child and youth care, social work, or human services.
  • Knowledge of experiential learning, strength-based practice, and trauma-informed care.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
  • Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification.
  • Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Intervention Check.
