Job Title: Child and Youth Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Child and Youth Worker to join our team at Pluming Eagle Lodge Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and care to children and youth in a group home setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare reports and case histories to document client progress and needs
  • Assess client needs and eligibility for specific services
  • Perform administrative tasks and implement life skills workshops
  • Supervise activities of clients and provide suicide and crisis intervention
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers
  • Develop and implement service intervention logic models and outcome measures

Requirements:

  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid criminal record check and child abuse registry check
