About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Queens Breakfast Cocktails. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our guests.
    • Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers to ensure consistency and freshness in our dishes.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional service.
    • Mentor and develop junior chefs to help them grow and succeed in their careers.
  • Kitchen Operations
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff are following proper food safety and handling procedures.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels and ordering to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet demand.
    • Monitor and control food costs to ensure that we are operating within budget.
  • Quality Control
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our dishes meet our high standards.
    • Make adjustments to recipes and cooking techniques as needed to ensure consistency and quality.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 1-2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role.
    • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Skills and Qualities
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
    • Ability to train and develop junior chefs.
