Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Conexiom. As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing machine learning models, conducting data analysis, and ensuring the seamless deployment and integration of these models into production systems.

This position is based in Vancouver, where our headquarters are located, and will require occasional in-person days for team meetings or social events. You will work closely with data engineers and Principal ML engineers to identify and implement the most suitable machine learning algorithms and techniques for given tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, statistics, or a related field, with experience in all parts of the lifecycle of ML projects, including initial conceptualization, data handling, model development, and deployment.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement machine learning models to solve complex business problems
  2. Conduct thorough data analysis to validate model performance through comprehensive evaluation metrics
  3. Implement machine learning models into production environments ensuring scalability and reliability
  4. Monitor and maintain the performance of deployed models, making updates and improvements as necessary
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field
  • Experience in programming languages including Python
  • Proficiency in machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn
  • Experience with database technologies (SQL, MongoDB, Databricks) and data pipeline tools
