About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. As a key member of our structural design team, you will be responsible for leading and working independently on projects of varying size and complexity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical design and project management of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, communications, and security systems.
  • Develop and monitor electrical design strategies for building construction to ensure efficient and sustainable project delivery.
  • Manage client relationships and project service delivery, actively participating in the entire project life cycle.
  • Coordinate the preparation of engineering specifications and drawings, quantity and cost estimates.
  • Ensure electrical drawings and specifications meet established project criteria and applicable standards.
Requirements
  • Electrical Engineering Degree from a recognized University.
  • Immediate eligibility for P.Eng. registration.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience.
  • LEED Accreditation and experience with sustainable design initiatives is considered an asset.
  • Experience with engineering tools such as AGI32, SKM PowerTools, Autocad, BIM.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, set priorities, and see projects through to completion.
