We are seeking a talented Electrical Controls Specialist to join our dynamic team at Valmet. As a key member of our Engineering Services team, you will apply your skills and experience to support the performance of large-scale papermaking equipment at our customers' facilities across North America.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing electrical and fluid schematics, machine control and human machine interface software for Valmet equipment.
  2. Testing software modifications and participating in start-ups, and service calls.
  3. Directing and being responsible for project engineering work of complete projects at customer sites, including developing machine code in PLC or DNA system and HMI software.
  4. Providing technical support for project meetings with customers and delivering technical training to customers' operators and/or maintenance personnel as needed.
  5. Making return trips to the site to eliminate warranty issues or address customer needs.
