About the Role

Adecco Canada is seeking a highly skilled R&D Operator III to join their team on a 5-month contract basis. This is an on-site position, working Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain laboratory supplies to ensure uninterrupted experimental work.
  • Assist with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives, including chemical inventory control and laboratory inspections.
  • Perform experiments, including cartridge testing, to support R&D projects and deliverables.
  • Communicate and interface with various stakeholders related to laboratory management, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
  • Manage a large workload efficiently and effectively, ensuring accuracy in all aspects.
  • Acquire and demonstrate knowledge of safety and health procedures, adapting to tight deadlines and changing priorities.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a laboratory setting.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to handle a large workload efficiently and effectively.
  • Ability to work accurately and precisely.
  • Adherence to highest safety standards and ability to train peers on new procedures.
  • Ability to acquire and demonstrate knowledge of safety and health procedures.
  • Ability to effectively adapt to tight deadlines and changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with analytical equipment.
  • Experience working in a regulated laboratory environment.
  • Experience writing operational procedures, forms, and templates.
  • Previous safety training.
  • Proficiency with Office Suite applications, including MS Excel.
  • Experience with inventory management.
