Job Title: Laboratory Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Assistant to join our team at BWXT Medical Ltd. in Kanata, Ontario.

Job Summary:

The Laboratory Assistant will be responsible for supporting our laboratory operations, ensuring the quality and accuracy of our medical isotopes and radiopharmaceuticals. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and testing of medical isotopes and radiopharmaceuticals
  • Perform quality control checks on laboratory equipment and supplies
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory activities
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure smooth laboratory operations
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance laboratory skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • 2 years of relevant work experience in a laboratory setting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
