Job Summary

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a clinical setting. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for addressing these needs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) certification
  • Trauma Nursing Care Course (TNCC) certification
  • Knowledge of Professional Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position working in a clinical setting. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
