We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team at Jordan & Neil M Enterprises. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to making job offers.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment and Hiring: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, manage job postings, and coordinate interviews.
- Candidate Management: Screen and evaluate candidate applications, conduct interviews, and make recommendations for hire.
- Onboarding and Integration: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Employee Experience: Foster a positive employee experience by providing exceptional support and guidance to employees throughout their tenure.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Setting: Various locations.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Experience in recruiting and supporting newcomers and refugees.
- Support for Indigenous People: Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with indigenous communities and organizations.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Experience in applying hiring policies that promote diversity and inclusion.
- Permanent Employment: A permanent position with opportunities for growth and development.
- Flexible Work Arrangements: 30 hours per week, flexible work arrangements to support work-life balance.
