Job Title: Human Resources Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team at Jordan & Neil M Enterprises.

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for providing support to our employees and management team, ensuring a positive and productive work environment. This includes recruiting and selecting candidates, developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, and providing training and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit and select candidates for various positions within the company
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Provide training and development opportunities to employees to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Support employees with their queries and concerns, and provide guidance on company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in human resources or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures, and relevant laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other HR software
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including newcomers and refugees
  • Knowledge of Indigenous and visible minority hiring policies and procedures
  • Fluency in English and/or another language
