Sales Team Leader

About the Role
Citation Canada is seeking an experienced Sales Team Leader to drive the performance of our account executives in London. As the leader of our London-based team, you will be expected to be in office a minimum of three days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example and actively promote a culture of openness and adaptability.
- Foster an environment where continuous improvement is embraced, and team members feel motivated to evolve.
- Pinpoint individual strengths and areas for growth and provide guidance to ensure each team member not only reaches but surpasses their set targets.
- Support the onboarding and training of new account executives by leading training sessions, providing coaching, answering questions, and acting as a trusted source of information.
- Develop and set clear processes for the team to follow, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
- Establish clear activity metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the team's performance, productivity, and overall progress.
- Provide feedback to team members based on metric reviews, celebrating successes and addressing performance gaps constructively.
Requirements
You are an experienced sales leader who:
- Has 5 years or more of sales management experience (preferably B2B inside sales).
- Has led sales teams catering to small and medium businesses (preferably selling SaaS solutions).
- Is familiar with multi-channel sales teams employing methods of outreach including phone, e-mail, and virtual meetings, with a focus on product demonstrations.
- Has a proven track record of success in outbound sales, with a passion for developing talent and building high-performing teams. You can deliver results under pressure.
- Possesses exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a knack for inspiring others and driving results.
- Has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and lead by example.
