Bookkeeper and Financial Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper and Financial Administrator to join our team. This is a permanent full-time position, requiring 35 to 40 hours of work per week.
Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is between $45,000 and $60,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely payment to employees
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, providing accurate financial reports to management
- Reconcile accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies
- Prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in accounting or finance an asset
- Minimum 1-2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a retail or manufacturing environment
- Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
This is a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The successful candidate will be able to maintain a high level of productivity while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
