We are seeking a skilled Physician to join our team as a General Practice Hospitalist. As a Hospitalist, you will provide adult medical inpatient care at our hospital, working closely with our healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide inpatient care to adult patients on the Medical Unit, Surgical Unit, Intensive Care Unit, and Mental Wellness Unit
- Assess, consult, and discharge patients in alignment with inter-departmental agreements
- Work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure continuous coverage and support for patients
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to maintain expertise in hospital medicine
- Medical degree and licensure to practice medicine in Yukon
- Current certification in the College of Family Physicians of Canada
- Experience in hospital medicine or a related field
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
