Financial Analyst IFRS Job Description

CAE is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst IFRS to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our accounting team, you will play a crucial role in leading various projects and contributing to the success of our business units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the finance business partner for certain business units, providing financial analysis and insights to support their growth and development.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports to evaluate the performance of our business units and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to discussions on non-routine transactions, such as business acquisitions and joint ventures, and provide expert advice on complex accounting treatments.
  • Develop strategic financial analysis and present key findings to management, highlighting opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Participate in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our accounting team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA) mandatory.
  • Minimum of six years of relevant experience in IFRS financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and ability to apply it in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks in a result-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HFM/HP.
  • Bilingual (French and English).
