Role and Responsibilities
The CAE TSC department is expanding, and the accounting team is seeking a Financial Analyst IFRS to join their team. This role involves leading various projects and working closely with business units to prepare financial analysis and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a finance business partner for specific business units, providing financial analysis and insights to support their growth and development.
- Prepare and present strategic financial analysis to Management, highlighting key observations and recommendations.
- Contribute to discussions on non-routine transactions, such as business acquisitions and joint ventures, and provide expert accounting advice.
- Participate in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Professional accounting designation (CPA) is mandatory.
- Minimum of six years of relevant experience in IFRS financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and ability to apply it in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
