About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Care Provider to join our team at Chee Family. As a Personal Care Provider, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Daily Living Activities
    • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming
    • Help with meal preparation and feeding
    • Provide assistance with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide Companionship and Social Support
    • Engage in conversations and activities with clients to promote social interaction and mental stimulation
    • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Assist with Mobility and Transfers
    • Assist clients with walking, transferring, and mobility
    • Help clients with exercises and physical activities
  • Administer Medications and Provide Medical Care
    • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
    • Provide basic first aid and wound care
  • Maintain a Safe and Healthy Environment
    • Ensure a safe and healthy environment for clients
    • Report any concerns or issues to management
Requirements
  • Education and Training
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience and Skills
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in personal care or a related field
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • CPR Certificate
    • First Aid Certificate
