Senior Caregiver Role Overview:

Position Summary:We are seeking exceptional health care professionals to join our dedicated team at Just Like Family Home Care.

As a valued member of our close-knit group of Home Support Workers, Caregivers, and nursing staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our senior clients. Dependability is essential to assist our clients with their daily living activities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidates will take initiative and thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Ability to commute to work via public transport or personal vehicle is necessary.
  • Applicants must reside in the surrounding area.
  • A smartphone with data capabilities is essential for scheduling and reporting.
  • A criminal background check and two professional references are mandatory.

Types of Care Provided:
  • Companionship
  • Light housekeeping
  • Meal preparation

  • Cancer care

Available Shifts:
  • Daytime, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts based on client needs.
  • Caregivers will be assigned to ongoing clients based on their experience and availability.

Benefits Include:
  • Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage.
  • Flexible working hours.

Part-time hours: 20-40.Compensation: $20-$22.00 per hour.

COVID-19 Precautions:
Our caregivers complete a COVID-19 training module and are provided with personal protective equipment as needed while working with clients in their homes.
