About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team at SRS Drywall Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our drywall projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to ensure a precise fit.
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists to maintain structural integrity.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry to achieve a seamless finish.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to ensure a strong bond.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall finishing.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek. The work language is English.
