About the Role

SRS Drywall Ltd is seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our drywall installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and ensure a professional finish.
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets to ensure a precise fit.
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists to ensure a sturdy installation.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to ensure a strong bond.
  • Work Term: Permanent with a regular 35-hour workweek.
  • Work Language: English is required for effective communication.
