Job Title: Drywall Finisher

We are seeking an experienced Drywall Finisher to join our team at Handyman Connection of Metro Vancouver, BC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and coordinating the cutting, taping, sanding, and installation of drywall in residential and light commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform and coordinate the cutting, taping, sanding, and installation of drywall
  • Work with all drywall hand tools and mechanical tools required to complete the work
  • Texture and refinish plaster services
  • Repair existing walls and ceilings
  • Evaluate customer requests, price projects, troubleshoot customer issues, and present a description of a work order to a customer
Requirements:
  • Current Driver's License and a clean driving record
  • Liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance
  • Tools, vehicle, and good references
  • Experience in the remodeling or home repair trades
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
