Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Applestone Pizzeria. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and supporting our kitchen staff in preparing and serving food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Restock condiments and supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure seamless service
  • Keep accurate records of food quantities used to inform inventory and ordering decisions
  • Prepare and package take-out food to meet customer demands
  • Portion and wrap food items to meet quality and presentation standards
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile and a positive attitude
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to maintain a well-stocked and organized kitchen
  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently to meet demand
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and responsibly
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to maintain a well-stocked kitchen
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to meet kitchen demands
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods
  • Work under pressure to meet customer demands and kitchen deadlines
