About the Role

Garry Machine MFG. is seeking a skilled Welding Fabricator to join our team. As a Welding Fabricator, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of metal parts and products.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and ARC welders, to fabricate and repair metal parts and products.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
