Job Summary

JORA WELDING INC is seeking a skilled Welding Fabricator to join our team. As a Welding Fabricator, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints to determine the best approach for each project.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to cut metal parts.
  • Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify designs.
  • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines to shape metal parts.
  • Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air) to cut metal parts.
  • Determine the weldability of materials and select the best welding process for each project.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in welding or a related field.
