Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Medicine Hat Care Community Ltd.

Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and monitor established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy
  • Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families
  • Monitor patients' progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with the healthcare team
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Willing to relocate
  • Nursing home/home for the aged work setting
