Your Opportunity:

The Alberta Health Services is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our interprofessional healthcare team. As a LPN, you will provide high-quality patient-centered care to individuals experiencing addiction and mental health challenges.

Description:

As a key member of our team, you will utilize your education, experience, and critical thinking skills to provide safe and effective care. You will work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Required Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
Additional Required Qualifications:
  • English language skills, both written and verbal required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Recent experience on an Acute Care Addiction and Mental Health unit preferred
  • Computer skills using AHS computer applications/programs would be an asset (Netcare, Medworxx, Outlook, Connect Care)
