About the Role:

The Manager of Communications will oversee the day-to-day operations of the communications team at Reitmans (Canada) Limited. Reporting to the VP of Corporate Communications, this role is ideal for a corporate communications professional with a background in PR, communications, or marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement communication plans that meet business objectives.
  2. Write and create engaging content for various target groups using RCL branding and tone of voice.
  3. Manage organization of communications projects and assign tasks to the team as needed.
  4. Provide direction to in-house and external graphic designers, photographers, and other media-production specialists.
  5. Serve as the Community Manager for internal and external corporate communications channels.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or equivalent.
  2. 7-10 years of experience in a similar role.
  3. Fluency in English and French (both oral and written).
  4. Strong writing skills.
  5. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite a strong asset.
