About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced communications professional to join our team at the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association. As an Associate and External Communication Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the creation and execution of corporate integrated projects, both internally and externally.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communications, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective communication strategies. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational management of our digital ecosystem, developing and deploying internal communication materials, and managing strategy reviews, content development, and reporting across social media, thought leadership, and website management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with stakeholders to create and implement end-to-end communication projects to enhance corporate positioning in Canada.
  2. Manage the operational aspects of our digital ecosystem, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality content.
  3. Develop and deploy internal communication materials, optimizing processes and reinforcing our culture.
  4. Lead strategy reviews, content development, activation, and reporting across social media, thought leadership, and website management.
  5. Design and execute key internal and external events, such as townhalls, community days, national meetings, and more.
  6. Ensure compliance with content creation and brand guidelines across all communication touchpoints.
  7. Collaborate with preferred agencies and external vendors to coordinate project and campaign development.
  8. Support the Lead in managing issues and sensitive communications.
  9. Focus on data-driven projects and insights generation to anticipate trends and enhance corporate positioning.

Requirements:

  1. Master's degree, university diploma, or an equivalent qualification with 6-10 years of experience in communications.
  2. Excellent writing and copy-editing skills in both French and English.
  3. Demonstrated ability for creative thinking in campaign development and experience-building.
  4. Strong collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  5. Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
  6. Resilient and adaptable to evolving landscapes.
  7. Proactive, self-motivated, and energetic individual.
  8. Fluent in data analysis and proficient in anticipating and identifying communication trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Fully bilingual in French & English.
  2. Utilization of Objectives, Goals, Strategies, and Measures (OGSM) framework, a goal-setting and action plan framework used in strategic planning with measurable results and assessment.
