Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant - Cleaning and Maintenance

At the Northern Star Hotel & Convention Center, we are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms, public areas, and facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, and polish floors to a high standard.
  • Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, and upholstered furniture.
  • Make beds and change sheets daily.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries as needed.
  • Stock linen closets and maintain inventory.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other high-traffic areas.
  • Clean and maintain elevators.
  • Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Provide basic information on hotel facilities.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Launder clothing and household linens.
  • Mend clothing and linens as needed.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent position with 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • English as the primary language of communication.
