Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Acadia First Nation. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods for our clients. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in ensuring the highest quality of food service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • or equivalent experience
