Job Title: Clinic Applications Specialist

EFW Radiology is seeking a skilled Clinic Applications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare IT team, you will be responsible for providing assistance to end-users, including radiologists, technologists, and support staff, in the design and implementation of new clinical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design and implementation of new clinical systems, including understanding clinical workflow and requirements, business analysis, software configuration, and functional expertise.
  • Develop and deliver training on required systems and procedures.
  • Assist with operational assignments to maintain data integrity of clinical application systems.
  • Analyze technical and operational problems and work with internal technical teams and/or vendor representatives to resolve them.
  • Work with software vendors to understand their product paths and work with management to plan for major upgrades as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a clinical designation (Diagnostic Sonography or Medical Radiologic Technology) in an imaging modality.
  • 5 years' experience working in a radiology or healthcare environment in a technical, administrative, or clinical role.
  • Fluent in English – written and oral.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and several projects at the same time, and effective in completing those tasks with minimal supervision and a high degree of accountability.
  • Experience with Agfa Impax, Visage RIS, Kailo Sonoreview, Powerscribe 360, Mirth Connect, Astraia, Accuro, and other similar medical applications.
