Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary:

Northern Health Authority is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a Primary Care LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings, including physician practices, homes, schools, and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide competent, safe, and ethical care for people and their families in various settings.
  • Support people and their families to achieve and maintain optimal health.
  • Perform assessments, planning, and implementing personal and nursing care to people.
  • Administer medications and operate in accordance with the competency guidelines and full scope of practice.
  • Work collaboratively with others within the context of an interprofessional team.
  • Establish and maintain rapport with people and their families.
  • Operate related equipment, including proficiency in relevant computer applications.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses.
  • One year of recent, related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Registered with BC College of Nursing Professionals as a practicing LPN registrant.
  • Current, valid BC Driver's License.
