We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team at Wall Expert Drywall Ltd. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply coats of compound to drywall surfaces
  • Sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for finishing
  • Install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
  • Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Attach metal or gypsum lath to studs or furring
  • Cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts, and electrical outlets
  • Install corner beads and wire mesh around beams to which plaster is to be applied
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
