Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Supervisor to join our team at Secure Shield Security. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our security personnel and ensuring the highest level of service delivery.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in security management, with a proven track record of leading teams and managing day-to-day operations. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule work assignments for security personnel to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources;
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be carried out on security equipment and facilities;
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs, providing support and guidance as required;
  • Be the point of contact when dealing with emergency situations, taking charge and ensuring a prompt response;
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to achieve organisational goals;
  • Monitor quality and production levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary;
  • Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management, highlighting achievements and challenges;
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality;
  • Supervise, co-ordinate, and schedule activities of workers, providing guidance and training as required;
  • Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively;
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a security management role, with a proven track record of leading teams and managing day-to-day operations;
  • Strong background in security management, with knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders;
  • Ability to work under pressure, think critically, and make sound decisions in fast-paced environments;
  • High school graduation certificate, with additional education or certifications in security management an asset;
