Doman Regional Leadership Opportunity

As a seasoned Regional Manager, you will be responsible for driving the profitability of our Blainville and St-Augustin branches. Your primary focus will be on managing internal business processes to support all functions within the branch.
About the Role:
The Regional Manager's responsibilities are categorized into four key areas: financial, sales, operations, and people management. You will work closely with our Director, Eastern Canada, to achieve financial targets, develop strategic plans, and ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management:
• Accountable for the profit/loss of the branch under the guidance of the Director, Eastern Canada.
• Prepare annual operating budgets (sales and expenses) and monitor actual levels against budget.
• Work with the Director to ensure the achievement of financial targets and develop short- and long-term strategic plans for the branch.
• Plan and establish systems to control expenses at branch locations.
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures.
2. Sales Development:
• Develop and coach the Inside Sales Supervisor, Sales Manager, and Commodity Traders to meet or exceed sales goals by defining strategies, promoting national programs, offering excellent customer service, achieving accuracy with orders, and increasing the dollar value of orders.
3. Operations and Administration:
• Provide strategic direction to achieve and maintain an efficient and safe warehouse while meeting customer service levels and achieving inventory integrity in collaboration with National Services.
• Work with Operation Supervisors to review invoices, work orders, and demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and staff accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with CNESST regulations and meeting Doman safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Administration Manager to ensure proper workflow and compliance with established processes and policies.
• Responsible for upkeep and security of buildings and warehouses.
4. People Management:
• Create and maintain a positive, productive, and transparent teamwork environment.
• Manage and develop direct reports, conducting performance reviews regularly and addressing employee issues fairly and consistently.
• Work closely with Human Resources when necessary.
Requirements:
1. Experience:
• A track record of success as an accomplished manager with profit/loss responsibility of a small to mid-sized business.
• Senior management experience in wholesale distribution is required.
• Minimum of three years experience managing, leading, and coaching an outside business-to-business sales team.

• Excellent English communication skills for presentations to key accounts and business owners.

4. Business Acumen:
• Strong business acumen.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
• A high degree of self-discipline with good time management and organizational abilities.
• Understands and uses financial records to effectively manage the business.
• Experience preparing and operating stand-alone budgets.
5. Education:
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in business.
6. Computer Skills:
• Very comfortable with technology; proficient with Word, Excel, and Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
7. Other Requirements:
• Driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Passport; able to enter the United States and other countries.
Benefits:
