Director of Finance Job Description

Fed Finance is seeking a seasoned Director of Finance to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and leadership to our client.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted financial advisor to the business, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Lead the treasury function, ensuring effective cash management and liquidity.
  • Supervise a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the CFO to develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Lead the year-end external audit process, ensuring a smooth and successful outcome.
Your Profile:
  • CPA designation
  • Experience in an accounting firm or similar environment
  • 5-8 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a strong background in consolidation and reporting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to develop financial models, tools, and templates
  • Leadership skills, with experience in managing a team
  • Experience with system implementation, process improvement, and change management
  • Proficiency with ERP and accounting software
