Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

KLC Hospitality Ltd. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to oversee the daily operations of our food service department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, managing staff, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays, delivery of food trolleys, and establish work schedules.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and physically demanding work.
  • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and flexibility.
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
Work Environment:

KLC Hospitality Ltd. is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Hours of Work:

35 hours per week.
