Food Service Manager

KLC Hospitality Ltd. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that high-quality food and exceptional customer service are provided to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our guests and staff.
- Requisition Food and Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to provide excellent service.
- Supervise Staff: Train, supervise, and coordinate the activities of our food service staff to ensure that they are providing excellent service and meeting our quality standards.
- Train Staff: Provide ongoing training and coaching to our staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional service.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies needed for meal preparation to ensure that we have the necessary resources to provide excellent service.
- Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet our quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and addressing any issues that arise.
- Budgeting: Prepare and manage the budget for our food service department to ensure that we are operating within our means.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management to ensure that they are informed of our progress and any issues that arise.
This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and is physically demanding. The successful candidate will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Personal Suitability:We are looking for a candidate who is client-focused, has efficient interpersonal skills, and is flexible. The successful candidate will need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with staff, guests, and management.
